| Ayu's boyfriend likely became reluctant to commit to a serious relationship with a woman in her thirties who wanted to get married. In the end, he broke up with Ayu after a year of dating. Ayu confided only in Taka about the breakup. Since then, Taka felt the distance between himself and Ayu rapidly shrinking.
