She sure does like that vibrator (don't we all).  When you think about great inventions, the vibrator has got to be up there amongst those of the 20th-Century, although one wonders just how soon after invention of batteries, or just electric current and the Industrial Revolution, likely 19th-Century, the application was created?

Then there's the dildo which invention is lost in the distant past.  Of all things, my mom gave me and my wife one she picked up in the Philippines in 1945.  It's made of teak wood, possibly 18th-Century.  She had said "Do you know what this is?"  I was thinking a double-ended pestle and said so.  She looks at my wife and said "My poor boy doesn't understand what this wonderful object is.  I bet you do."  My wife takes it and says to my mom "It's going to need oil, and lots of it."  Me, I'm just a dumbass, totally oblivious as to what they were talking about.  Not until later when my wife said "Let's do some enemas - I want to show you something very interesting."  That was super-wonderful.  Yes, lots of oil and I jacked and she jilled.  We don't have photos and so we better do some!!!
