Don't be surprised. I get a notification when you post something new. Of course, I remember the post about the femininity challenge. I didn't get any further with that one either.
Since I'm very interested in sounding, I commented and asked you the questions, as I'm always on the lookout for new toys, i.e., sounds. My current maximum is 11mm. Sometimes 11.5mm works too. Even 0.1mm can make the difference, and then it becomes too painful. Ideally, you're best off making such toys yourself. I've done that quite a few times, as I work with metals professionally. These probes don't look very good, though, so I don't want to show them here. If you're interested, I can take some pictures and send them via private message sometime.
